Did you know that it is illegal for printer manufacturers or service companies to prohibit you from using recycled, remanufactured, or compatible printer supplies? Antitrust laws are designed to promote competition by prohibiting practices that may lead to unreasonable restraints of trade. Specifically, the Sherman and Clayton Antitrust Acts ensure that market allocations among competitors, tying agreements, and any other unfair or deceptive practices that may reduce competition are, indeed, illegal.

Your printer’s warranty cannot be voided by your use of a compatible supply item, whether it be a toner cartridge, inkjet cartridge, or ribbon.

Don’t be intimidated by sales or service people.
